About The Position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Software Developer to join our Technology Team. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Denver, CO or Phoenix, AZ. Work directly with project team and client staff to identify and develop web-based products and dashboard reports that meet specific requirements. Support the development and maintenance of digital project controls reporting solutions, including cost, schedule, and risk dashboards, to help client stakeholders identify project risks, required actions, and overall program health. Build and support Power BI dashboards that provide clear health, performance, and “manage‑by‑exception” visibility for project and executive audiences. Develop and maintain data processing, automation, and integration workflows that support reporting from project systems (e.g., cost systems, schedules, and other project data sources). Work with project controls, delivery teams, and client stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Support all stages of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and production support. Monitor data pipelines, reports, and applications to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance, addressing issues as they arise. Create and maintain clear documentation for both technical and non‑technical users to support adoption and continuity.

Requirements

  • 0-2 Years of professional experience in a related technical field.
  • Interest in analytics, data‑driven decision making, and supporting complex projects or programs.
  • Must have a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college/university.
  • Proficient in C#, SQL Server, and web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, Typescript).
  • Experience with or exposure to Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Functions, data services, cloud‑based applications).
  • Familiarity with data processing, automation, and ETL concepts.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or interest in developing Power BI reports and dashboards, including data modeling and visualization concepts is a plus.
  • Experience with ASP.NET Razor; familiarity with ASP.NET Blazor is a plus.
  • Exposure to Python for data analysis is a plus.
  • Interest in or exposure to large language models (LLMs) and API‑based integrations is a plus.
