About The Position

The individual will work with a team of dynamic and innovative engineers to develop new capabilities supporting the front end processing of data for a mission critical tool. The individual will also support the modernization of the front end processing services. Support the modernization of malware analysis and develop techniques for metadata storage for knowledge management to support the defense of national security systems. The engineer will be a part of a team who explores new technologies and prototypes new mission tools and analytics. The team also develops new algorithms and innovative techniques to address mission related problems.

Requirements

Must have a current or active security clearance with a poly.
Seven (7) + years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required or 4 more years experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required OR 4 years of additional Software Engineer experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Programming Languages: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Ruby, PL/SQL, SQL, HTML5, CSS3, XSL, Linux shell scripting
Frontend Development: js, AngularJS, Vuetify, Bootstrap, jQuery, responsive web design, semantic HTML, ARIA, accessibility-focused UI development
Backend Development: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Node.js, Django, Dagger, RESTful APIs, JSON services, Apache Tomcat
Databases: PostgreSQL, Oracle, Oracle 10g, MySQL, SQL Plus, Oracle APEX, database tables, views, functions, procedures, reports, dashboards, and forms
