Turing is hiring a remote Software Developer to evaluate software engineering capabilities of AI models and create datasets for training and benchmarking large language models. Working closely with researchers, you will curate code examples, provide solutions, and correct code in Python, C/C++, Rust, Go, Java, and JavaScript, including ReactJS. The work emphasizes systems-level code, performance-critical applications, and infrastructure. You will evaluate and refine AI-generated code for efficiency, scalability, and reliability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on enterprise AI coding solutions. You may also build agents to verify systems-level and infrastructure code, analyze error patterns, assess model capabilities across the software engineering lifecycle, and design mechanisms for automatically verifying solutions. This is a flexible contractor engagement for candidates based in the United States, with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week and a maximum of 40 hours per week. The initial duration is one month, with possible extensions based on performance and fit. Contractors do not receive medical benefits or paid leave. The application takes 15–30 minutes and requires completion of an AI video interview.
