The Software Developer will serve as an integral member of the IT team with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following: Design, build, and support new and existing custom software solutions and applications Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application issues across custom software solutions, integrations, and supporting cloud services Collaborate with end users and the IT development team to define application requirements, technical specifications, acceptance criteria, and implementation priorities Develop, maintain, and deploy software using distributed source control systems and modern DevOps platforms such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Work with enterprise data stored in relational databases, document repositories, and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SharePoint Online Conduct code reviews, follow secure coding practices, and help enforce development standards for code quality, maintainability, performance, and reliability Support fusion development initiatives by collaborating with business users and IT teams to design, govern, and support solutions built with Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate Follow secure development, data governance, and responsible AI practices when designing, building, integrating, and supporting software solutions Comply with Seneca’s EHSQ policies, standards and procedures and demonstrate active and regular involvement in EHSQ programs
