About The Position

Trideum Corporation is seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer to join their team in Huntsville, AL. This role will contribute to multiple software and artificial intelligence-enabled programs supporting test, missile defense, and space systems. The developer will apply expertise in Software Development and Software Architecture to develop, deploy, and maintain advanced tools for automation, data analysis, and operational efficiency for internal and government customers. The position requires hands-on code design, code development, system design, testing, and the use of modern DevSecOps, containerization, and CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate is a US citizen with an active Secret security clearance (and eligibility for Top Secret) who enjoys learning new technologies, solving complex problems, and building secure, reusable, scalable software and coding procedures that advance national security missions. The role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams throughout the full lifecycle of software development, from concept and architecture to deployment and sustainment, across multiple software development and AI/ML programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• At least 4 years of software development experience.
• Demonstrable skills in coding, data management, and software workflows.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software deployment infrastructure.
• Extensive experience with Python, Docker, version control, and backend APIs.
• Extensive experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices using platforms such as GitLab.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• A strong desire to learn, experiment with new technologies, and continuously stretch existing skills.
• Active Secret security clearance, with the eligibility to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
• US citizen

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• AI/ML research/development.
• Experience designing, building, and packaging software products for deployment using Kubernetes or other containerized solutions.

Responsibilities

• Architect, code, and maintain scalable applications and backend APIs using Python, Docker, and related technologies, integrating AI/ML capabilities to enhance automation and decision support.
• Develop, implement, and optimize ML algorithms and software components using frameworks such as LangChain, and PyTorch, leveraging tools like Milvus, Chroma, for vector-based search and data management.
• Design, build, and package software for deployment using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring efficient, portable, and secure execution across environments.
• Develop automated pipelines using GitLab or equivalent platforms for continuous integration, testing, and deployment, ensuring reliability and repeatability in software releases.
• Apply best practices in version control, code review, documentation, and secure coding, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and government requirements.
• Engage with engineers, data scientists, and system integrators to define technical solutions, share insights, and support multiple software and AI/ML initiatives.
• Explore and evaluate emerging technologies to continuously improve performance, scalability, and user functionality across deployed systems.
• Engage in minimum travel for customer and event support as needed.
