About The Position
The Lead Software Developer supports software development initiatives by analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, and designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications. The role works with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions for complex financial business processes and organizational needs. It requires strong technical expertise, leadership experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective software solutions while ensuring development standards and quality assurance practices are followed. The role provides technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle, collaborates with quality assurance teams, troubleshoots complex technical issues, and promotes development best practices. It also contributes to technical roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in software development, including lead developer or development management responsibilities.
- At least 5 years of experience working with development technologies and relational databases, including Azure SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Experience developing and maintaining applications that support complex business processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead development efforts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor development team members, and support collaboration.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across distributed teams.

- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET technologies.

- Contribute to technical roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Translate business and user requirements into technical specifications and effective software solutions.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, software development trends, and industry best practices.
