About The Position

Under general supervision, develop information systems by designing, developing, and implementing software solutions. This role involves owning the application and database programming for multiple applications, understanding software specifications and implementing applications utilizing .Net and Microsoft SQL. The developer will support and modify legacy Webforms applications, with new development using Entity Framework and LINQ. Responsibilities include identifying and resolving issues at the application and network level, writing stored procedures for advanced processes, and ensuring programs comply with quality assurance programs and are maintained in TFS for source control. Experience publishing .NET applications to IIS is also required. The role requires maintaining knowledge of and demonstrating the ability to perform work safely in accordance with all approved safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations, and actively participating in Safety Work Groups.

Requirements

  • Utilizing .Net and Microsoft SQL

  • Ability to perform sedentary to light work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally (any exertion of force/lifting greater than 45 pounds requires usage of a two person “buddy system”), non-repetitive, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly, repetitive; performing such activities as lifting, lowering, carrying, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, grasping, kneeling, stooping, reaching.
  • Ability to perform primary office duties including heavy computer usage.

  • Experience with the MVC framework preferred but not required.
