About The Position

Biomedical Informatics Infrastructure at CSSIMMW is responsible for providing informatics support for the daily operations of the institute, including support for biomedical informatics research in both technological and scientific fields. This is an entry-level developer position that is responsible for infrastructure development supporting the operations of the institute and partners. A strong understanding of databases and software application development is critical to develop and maintain applications and databases, and to conduct data modeling, querying, and analysis. This position requires extensive communications with supervisors, peers, and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related technical degree required.
  • Zero to three years of application development in C#, C++, Java, or other Object-Oriented language is required.
  • Basic full life cycle experience in software development process including requirements analyses, design, architecture, coding, testing and maintenance.
  • Working in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with relational databases.
  • Ability to use Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing web-based applications in a professional environment is a plus.
