About The Position

Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) is seeking a Mid Software Developer to join the FS2 – Foundation Solutions team. The Backend Software Developer will modify existing GOTS code and integrate open-source software solutions for display and analysis within Aeronautical Production Systems. Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) was created with the purpose of providing integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers both CONUS and OCONUS. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.

Requirements

BS degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience OR Master's 2+years of prior relevant experience; OR High School diploma or GED equivalent and 6+ years of related experience.
Adept at leveraging a comprehensive suite of AWS services, including Amazon S3 for storage, EC2 for compute, and Lambda for serverless functions. This expertise is complemented by strong experience in Python and shell scripting to automate cloud operations and streamline infrastructure management.
Experience in either software development projects or software integration projects in a service-oriented environment (Cloud, SOA, Web-Services) or virtualization environment.
Experience with TypeScript, Node.js/Express, ASP.NET Core Web API, Swagger (OpenAPI), C#, and Postgres
Familiarity with REST principles.
Experience with DevSecOps, including Kubernetes and Docker.
Experience with Python and .NET Core (coding, developing, designing, integrating, and debugging)
Experience with Linux Administration (including writing Bash scripts)
Experience scripting to automate AWS and RDS tasks
Experience using AWS SDK API tools to build on AWS. Lambdas, EC2, and React.
Experience implementing JavaScript, Java, and SQL
Background check

Nice To Haves

Possession of an AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification is a strong plus.
Master's Degree with 2+ years of prior relevant experience
Active TS/SCI Clearance
Ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance
Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals

Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it

Responsibilities

Coding, developing, integrating, and debugging Python, React, C#, and other languages.
Writing validation tests against existing code baselines to ensure the integrity of the code during Agile development efforts.
Assisting with unit testing.
Writing scripts to automate AWS and RDS tasks.
Performs software systems development, including the design, development, troubleshooting, and debugging of software programs for software enhancements and new software-intensive systems and products.
Participate in peer reviews and unit testing, and must be adaptable to different responsibilities.
Duties include software requirements analysis, development of software products.
This role is responsible for identifying software and hardware dependencies and capacities.
