About The Position
Everforth ECS is seeking a Senior Software Developer to work in its Quantico, Virginia office, providing IT services and support for hardware, IT systems, applications, and operational technologies supporting mission-critical operations for its DOJ FBI client. The program enhances enterprise IT services and solutions for an FBI component, providing end-user support and improving the operation, management, maintenance, and integration of services across multiple networks, systems, and applications to enable law enforcement capabilities. The role works at the intersection of traditional IT and specialized scientific and operational technology systems to ensure the functionality, performance, availability, and responsiveness of supported IT systems and services. The developer is accountable for managing server performance against service delivery objectives and identifying and implementing operational improvements that promote organizational efficiency.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance.
- Eight years of software development experience.
- A bachelor's degree or additional relevant experience.
- Experience with SQL Server 2008 R2 or greater, including T-SQL stored procedures and views.
- Familiarity with writing unit tests and their role in a Continuous Integration environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail, highly developed critical-thinking skills, and solid troubleshooting ability.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software.
- Troubleshoot software application problems and resolve systems integration and compatibility issues.
- Support software testing as required, including developing automated test scripts using automation tools.
- Interact with required stakeholders.
- Implement best practices to improve technology tools and processes, increase team efficiency, and strengthen technical execution.
- Contribute to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
- Manage server performance against service delivery objectives.
- Identify and implement operational improvements to promote efficiency.
