About The Position

DRCG seeks a Software Developer (SME) to provide services to the Department of Justice (DOJ) client supporting the technical consolidation across various classified components by providing continued support, development and department-wide deployment of Information Technology (IT) solutions/services at the classified level. The Software Developer (SME) will oversee the design and development of new software or enhancements to existing software.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen.
• Top Secret/SCI
• 7+ Years of relevant experience
• Good understanding of business applications as well as user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements.
• Experience with multiple programming languages such as: Python, Java, C++, etc.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business.
• Significant equivalent experience, training and/or certifications may be substituted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance complex software solutions.
• Lead technical projects while ensuring high-quality and scalable code.
• Coordinate technical project milestone reviews, code architecture sessions, resource estimation, and development best practices knowledge transfer.
• Provides technical lead of development staff, along with peer level interaction with project managers and architects.
• Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for all solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance.
• Agile methodologies should be used to the maximum extent possible.
