Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: SharePoint/web design, software/application development, or software testing/QA.
Proficiency in HTML/CSS and familiarity with modern programming languages or frameworks (e.g., C#, Java, JavaScript, .NET).
Understanding of usability principles, accessibility standards, secure coding practices, and structured development lifecycles.
Experience with relational databases, RESTful services, or automated testing frameworks.
Active Secret Security clearance is required.
Must be able to pass a background check.
May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing tools, and performance or security testing methodologies.
Knowledge of web-based workflows, form design, and production support environments.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for both automated and manual testing to identify software defects and ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.
Test system modifications prior to implementation to validate product functionality and quality.
Identify edge cases, perform defect triage, and conduct regression testing to ensure product reliability.
Document and log software and application defects using a bug-tracking system.
Collaborate closely with software or web developers to report defects and assist in resolving issues.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases of identified defects.
Actively participate in software design reviews to provide valuable input on functional requirements, operational characteristics, product designs, and project schedules.
Collaborate with business analysts, end users, and leadership to translate customer requirements into functional interfaces, maintaining a focus on usability and accessibility.
Develop, enhance, and refine software application features.
Refactor code bases while adhering to secure coding practices and usability principles.
Fix software defects and contribute to feature implementation, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Contribute to documentation, testing improvements, and troubleshooting in both development and production environments to resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently.
