Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong programming experience using Python and knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software development concepts.
Experience with relational databases, SQL, APIs, application integration, data processing, and backend software development.
Knowledge of software testing, debugging, troubleshooting, source-control systems, CI/CD processes, and application deployment methodologies.
Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance and be able to support project requirements in Herndon, VA.
Must be willing and able to travel and/or relocate to various unanticipated client locations throughout the United States depending on the scope, location, and duration of future client projects, with expenses paid by the employer.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, modify, test, debug, and maintain computer programs and software applications according to functional and technical requirements.
Analyze business requirements, system specifications, and technical documentation to develop appropriate programming solutions.
Develop and maintain application components, backend processes, APIs, database interfaces, and system integrations.
Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, code reviews, and application enhancements to improve software functionality and performance.
Support software deployments, system upgrades, configuration changes, production environments, and ongoing application maintenance activities.
Collaborate with technical and client teams and travel and/or relocate to various unanticipated client locations throughout the United States as required by assigned projects, with expenses paid by the employer.
