Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong programming experience using Python and knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software development concepts.
  • Experience with relational databases, SQL, APIs, application integration, data processing, and backend software development.
  • Knowledge of software testing, debugging, troubleshooting, source-control systems, CI/CD processes, and application deployment methodologies.
  • Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance and be able to support project requirements in Herndon, VA.
  • Must be willing and able to travel and/or relocate to various unanticipated client locations throughout the United States depending on the scope, location, and duration of future client projects, with expenses paid by the employer.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, modify, test, debug, and maintain computer programs and software applications according to functional and technical requirements.
  • Analyze business requirements, system specifications, and technical documentation to develop appropriate programming solutions.
  • Develop and maintain application components, backend processes, APIs, database interfaces, and system integrations.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, code reviews, and application enhancements to improve software functionality and performance.
  • Support software deployments, system upgrades, configuration changes, production environments, and ongoing application maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with technical and client teams and travel and/or relocate to various unanticipated client locations throughout the United States as required by assigned projects, with expenses paid by the employer.
