About The Position

This internship focuses on supporting digital delivery initiatives, including automation, data processing, and BIM-related workflows, to enhance project efficiency. The intern will assist in developing and maintaining Python scripts and tools for data analysis, reporting, and process optimization. They will learn and apply foundational concepts of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and digital project delivery, contributing to data integration efforts and supporting the preparation of project documentation, reports, and dashboards. The role also involves participating in project coordination and organizing digital project data, completing assigned training, and developing technical and professional skills. The intern is expected to exercise responsible and ethical decision-making in alignment with WSP’s Code of Conduct and company policies. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required to support business needs. Please note that there is no relocation or housing assistance associated with this internship.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Python programming language.
• Understanding of data analysis and scripting concepts.
• Interest in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and digital project delivery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Eligible to work in the specified location.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with data integration tools or platforms.
• Knowledge of ACC or similar project management systems.
• Previous internship or project experience in software development or data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support digital delivery initiatives, including automation, data processing, and BIM-related workflows, to enhance project efficiency.
• Assist in developing and maintaining Python scripts and tools for data analysis, reporting, and process optimization.
• Learn and apply foundational concepts of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and digital project delivery.
• Contribute to data integration efforts, including working with project information from platforms such as ACC or similar systems.
• Support the preparation of project documentation, reports, and dashboards.
• Participate in project coordination efforts and assist with organizing and maintaining digital project data.
• Complete assigned training and actively develop technical and professional skills.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making in alignment with WSP’s Code of Conduct and company policies.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required to support business needs.
