About The Position

PDU Enterprise Communication is a Development Unit within BA Digital Services (BDGS). The Product Development Unit is responsible for development of Enterprise products and solutions and works in collaboration with the Product Development Unit Communication Services (PDU COS) responsible for the development of IMS products and solutions. This is a global organization with main governance in Sweden and with own operations in Sweden, Canada, Spain, Netherlands, and India. Within PDU Enterprise Communication, our team has been set up to strengthen the ability to demonstrate technology leadership in the area of communication services. Focus will be on development of demos and proof of concepts (PoCs) related to monetization of 5G, new networking technologies, Enterprise, and distributed cloud. The team will work in a true end-to-end fashion including system work, design & test, deployment and support. We are currently looking for Co-op Students with skills including system design, software implementation & test and deployment experience to join our team!

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Bsc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equal
  • A genuine curiosity about technology, innovation and disruption
  • Knowledge of Mobile and App development
  • Knowledge of Java, Node.js, JavaScript
  • Knowledge of Linux, virtualization and containerization
  • Knowledge of complex multi node system design
  • Customer Insight
  • To be a team player
  • Innovation mindset
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships both internally and externally
  • Fluent oral and written English and have excellent presentation skills
  • Knowledge sharing and Learning attitude
  • Large degree of flexibility and willingness to take on different tasks
  • 2.7+ GPA or equivalent , Uploading an unofficial copy of your transcript
  • Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, master’s, or PhD on a full-time basis at a four-year college or university at the time of the co-op/internship
  • Be available to work 40 hours per week

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of IMS and VoLTE is an advantage
  • French language knowledge would be an asset
