About The Position

The purpose of this position is to modify software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces, as well as work with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance. The Software Developer II will confer with Project Managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities. The incumbent will also assist in the development of documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years of relevant experience
Microsoft Office
Knowledge of C# and .NET development platforms
Knowledge of intermediate/advanced T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
Must know how to translate business language into technical requirements.

Responsibilities

Works to clarify user requirements.
Develops new or modifies existing software applications.
Designs, builds, and maintains efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
Tests and debugs various .NET applications.
Migrates existing programs.
Ensures the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Works closely with end-users, customers, solution architects and other stakeholders to coordinate plans and activities that affect the solution.

Communicates and coordinates with senior-level Developers and management to address technical issues, e.g. solution design or development issues, bugs, etc.
Ensures developed code is versioned and proper source control is practiced.
Performs other related assignments as needed.
