About The Position

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking a Software Developer II with strong full-stack development experience to support the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Angular, C#, ASP.NET , and Oracle Database technologies and will be responsible for developing new functionality, supporting existing applications, resolving production issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 7+ years of experience in coding, testing, debugging, and supporting enterprise applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with: Angular C# ASP.NET Oracle Database PL/SQL Stored Procedures Triggers
• Experience with application design, system analysis, and software architecture.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, standards, and methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with enterprise information architecture and information management methodologies.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and modern software development practices.
• Experience working in large enterprise, government, or healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications using Angular, C#, ASP.NET , and Oracle Database.
• Develop and support complex stored procedures, triggers, scripts, and database objects.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, UX designers, project managers, and support teams.
• Implement system enhancements, modifications, and new functionality.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Provide status updates and work effectively within an Agile/Scrum environment.
