Along the journey, you'll utilize your technical skills in our agile environment to develop next-generation technologies through our web applications and e-commerce sites. You will be empowered to make an immediate impact by creating high-volume, scalable solutions and work with teams to iterate on features quickly and efficiently. From the back-end supply and database functions to new user interfaces for more than 140 branded travel sites, there is no shortage of opportunity for technical innovation at Expedia Group.

Requirements

  • Must be available to start August 17, 2026
  • Must be graduating with an undergraduate or master’s degree in a technical subject (e.g. Computer Science, Information Technology etc.) between December 2025 and July 2026
  • Must be willing to relocate to city of job location if outside commuting distance
  • Must commit to full time hours every week
  • Must have no more than 2 years of professional experience in a similar role

Nice To Haves

  • Helpful to be familiar with basic concepts of at least one programming or scripting language (e.g. Java, C/C++, Python, C#)
  • Helpful to have knowledge of data structures, algorithms and OOP concepts
  • Helpful to have effective communication skills and the ability to engage with a variety of partners (e.g., internal, external, technical, non-technical people)
  • Bilingual in English and French is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with your immediate team for questions and concerns; connect with your manager and dedicated mentor to answer questions
  • Be comfortable with common developer tools and can use them with assistance (e.g., GitHub or an IDE)
  • Demonstrate an aptitude to learn and apply basic software developer concepts like design principles, algorithms, and code composition.
  • Understand the basic business reasons for a given feature or project.
  • Understand the major components of a team's design by asking teammates questions
  • Respond to queries via work approved tools (email, Slack, Excel, etc)
  • Improve coding abilities by being introduced to new tools and programming languages.
  • Work in a fast-paced workplace to produce high-quality software.
