About The Position

The Platform Experience Backend team builds the APIs that power Splunk's next-generation data processing and data storage solutions. We enable customers to route, transform, and process their data at the edge and in the cloud, and to store and query it at a massive scale in a modern data lake. We are working on exciting, unannounced big data products that will expand what Cisco and Splunk customers can do with their data in AI workflows. Our team is collaborative, fast-paced, and ownership-heavy—made up of skilled engineers who are friendly, open, and genuinely invested in helping each other grow.

  • Collaborate: Participate in agile ceremonies, give clear status updates, and collaborate with Product Managers, Frontend teams, and adjacent backend data teams.
  • Ensure Quality: Write clean, well-tested code, participate in code reviews, and maintain high code-quality standards.
