About The Position

Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute.

Requirements

Object oriented programming languages (Java and Python)
Design and development of RESTful services, microservices-based applications, and Spring-based frameworks
Design and development of distributed data processing using frameworks (Apache Flink or Apache Spark)
Automated testing using test frameworks (JUnit, Cucumber, or Karate)
Design and optimization of relational and non-relational databases (SQL and NoSQL)
Event-driven and asynchronous application development using messaging systems (Apache Kafka)
Development and deployment of scalable applications in cloud computing environments (OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Development, deployment, and orchestration of containerized applications (Docker and Kubernetes)
Application logging, monitoring, troubleshooting, and observability practices
Software build, integration, deployment, and version control processes
Design fault tolerance and highly available distributed systems
Concurrent and multithreaded application design and performance optimization

Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
