About The Position

Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team. This role involves researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs. The developer will test and evaluate new programs while working closely with other developers, UX designers, business analysts, and systems analysts. The position requires designing, coding, and modifying complex computer programs, subroutines, triggers, stored procedures, objects, classes, and scripts using Angular, C#, ASP.NET, and Oracle Database. Responsibilities also include performing necessary testing of assigned programs, supporting issue resolution, performance improvements, and enhancements, and using current software development methods and techniques and established development standards to ensure application quality and maintainability. Participation in code reviews is also a key aspect of this role.

Requirements

• 7 years of experience in computer programming, analysis, and development of complex business processes and system solutions
• 7 years of experience coding, testing, and debugging programs that are in development or require support for issue resolution, performance, or enhancements
• 7 years of experience processing information logically, designing programs and systems logic, and preparing program specifications
• 7 years of highly developed oral and written communication skills
• 7 years of experience demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others, motivate employees, and elicit work output
• 7 years of knowledge and understanding of Information Technology industry trends, directions, and market experience, with the ability to relate them to an organization
• 7 years of knowledge of architectural concepts, principles, and tools relevant to infrastructure, information, applications, organizational structure, and related areas
• 7 years of knowledge of emerging technologies, including technologies new to company systems and those emerging within the information systems industry
• 7 years of knowledge of tools, techniques, and best practices for protecting the integrity of corporate data and associated processing, technology practices, standards, and procedures
• 7 years of experience with solution delivery utilizing Agile or Scrum methodology

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of familiarity with agency information architecture and information management methodologies
• 2 years of familiarity with existing and planned software technology and global, regional, and local software architecture and infrastructure components

Responsibilities

• Research, design, implement, and manage software programs.
• Test and evaluate new programs while working closely with other developers, UX designers, business analysts, and systems analysts.
• Design, code, and modify complex computer programs, subroutines, triggers, stored procedures, objects, classes, and scripts using Angular, C#, ASP.NET, and Oracle Database.
• Perform necessary testing of assigned programs, including: Generating test data, Writing test scripts and execution sequences, Examining test results, Debugging detected errors.
• Support issue resolution, performance improvements, and enhancements.
• Use current software development methods and techniques and established development standards, including programming, documentation, and testing standards, to ensure application quality and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure compliance with development standards and system and business requirements.
