About The Position

This role involves designing, developing, implementing, testing, and documenting embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services. The engineer will translate functional requirements into robust, efficient, and supportable solutions that integrate well with the overall system architecture. The position requires participation in the full development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, documentation, delivery, and maintenance. Additionally, the role includes producing comprehensive software documentation, evaluating and selecting software products and tools, and mentoring junior development engineers.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience.
One year of experience in designing and developing largescale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
One year of experience in Object Oriented Design.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement, test, and document embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems and services.
Translate functional requirements into robust, efficient, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture.
Participate in the full development cycle, end-to-end, from design, implementation, and testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance.
Produce comprehensive, usable software documentation.
Evaluate and make decisions around the use of new or existing software products and tools.
Mentor junior development engineers.
