About The Position

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a global leader in providing a highly reliable, scalable, low-cost cloud infrastructure platform. This role is for an agile, independent team focused on building a brand new AWS product, requiring developers capable of solving complex problems. The team will work on highly visible projects that directly impact hundreds of other Amazon teams. Developers at Amazon work on global-scale problems, own their systems end-to-end, and influence technology impacting millions of customers. The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with poly security clearance, and U.S. Citizenship is required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate BMC features for new Cloud platform storage, HSM, AI accelerators architectures
• Support day to day AWS Cloud production issues to keep AWS Cloud hardware infrastructure availability capacity
• Collaborate with multiple AWS organizations to meet the customer workloads and data security requirements
• Innovate leveraging AI tools new secure manageability and monitoring solutions that can scale across million servers across AWS regions
