About The Position

Cole Engineering Services (CESI) is seeking a motivated and talented Level 1 Software Design Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative engineering team. In this entry-level role, you will work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• U. S. Citizenship status with ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with web development technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with TypeScript and Angular is a plus.
• Knowledge of databases, including SQL, is preferred.
• Knowledge of container runtime environment such as Kubernetes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with the Java Programming Language.
• Understanding of fundamental computer science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to tackle complex challenges and create innovative solutions.
• Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
