About The Position

We are seeking experienced Software Data Engineers with 10+ years of relevant experience to support the design and development of a strategic data platform. The role will focus on building scalable data solutions, developing cloud-based data platforms, and supporting data strategy initiatives. Work as part of a Data Strategy team supporting the development and implementation of a strategic data platform. Contribute to the active development of a data platform, beginning with reference data systems for securities and pricing data and expanding to additional data domains. Collaborate closely with engineering and data teams to design, develop, and implement data solutions. Follow established development standards and contribute to data platform engineering initiatives. Design and implement solutions using cloud-based data services and modern data engineering technologies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Full-stack Python/PySpark development experience.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with strong Azure Cloud experience.
• Hands-on experience implementing solutions using Azure Cloud Services.
• Hands-on experience implementing solutions using Azure Data Factory.
• Hands-on experience implementing solutions using Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2.
• Hands-on experience implementing solutions using Azure Database Services.
• Hands-on experience implementing solutions using Azure Data Fabric.
• Hands-on experience implementing solutions using API Gateway / API Management.
• Hands-on experience implementing solutions using Azure Functions.
• Strong experience with Azure Databricks.
• Strong SQL skills with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience developing APIs using FastAPI or similar Python frameworks.
• Familiarity with the DevOps lifecycle, including Git, Jenkins, and similar tools.
• Experience with CI/CD processes.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes.

Nice To Haves

• Financial services experience, including familiarity with financial instruments, asset classes, securities, pricing data, or market data.
