About The Position

As a Software Data Engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll help build advanced technology solutions and implement data engineering activities on some of the most mission-driven projects in the industry. You’ll deploy and develop pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful. Here, you’ll work with and guide a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced, agile environment. You’ll use your experience in analytical exploration and data examination while you manage the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms for your clients. Requirements

2+ years of experience building data pipelines in Databricks, including PySpark, Delta Live Tables, or Unity Catalog
Experience integrating and transforming data within Palantir Foundry or Maven Smart System (MSS) environments
Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines across distributed compute platforms
Experience analyzing and managing data, including data visualization, data management, data governance, data strategy, and data engineering
Experience creating solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

Experience with the Department of War (DoW)
Experience migrating legacy ETL logic into modern cloud platforms, including Databricks, Foundry, or Fabric
Experience building business analytic visualizations
Experience working on Agile teams
Experience with process improvement approaches and methodologies
Ability to synthesize results and deliver presentations to product owners or stakeholders
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing organizational processes
