You will report to our Engineering Manager and work onsite at our Eastlake, OH manufacturing facility. You will apply your electrical design experience to our Bevcorp Product line of equipment.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience designing electrical circuits and systems required
  • Bachelors degree in engineering preferred
  • Strong understanding of Electrical design of circuits, pneumatic controls, electrical systems, machine controls, and electrical control panels required.
  • Must be well versed at designing electrical systems/circuits using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar software to design electrical control systems
  • Must be able to program Allen Bradley - Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) using ladder logic
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed schematics and working engineering drawings of electrical devices and system.
  • Conduct electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic design, peripheral device programming, machine PLC programming, coordinate the machine debug, power-up, and machine validation with build and electrical teams and provide customer documentation as needed
  • Travel to install site for install and runoffs with customer when applicable and necessary
  • Work with R&D team on new product development projects including design, testing and technical support
  • Provide assembly team with technical support during assembly and managing Final Assembly Test.
  • May also support Field service with remote and onsite technical support.
  • Work on continuous improvement activities to improve product performance, cost and standardization.
  • Commitment to safety, understand risks, safety training, reports and document incidents as required.
  • Ability to interact with company personnel, customers and vendors while representing company in a professional manner.
  • Generate bills of materials from specifications and drawings
  • Work with cross-functional teams to solve problems and develop solutions for customers
  • Integrate Bevcorp equipment with existing machinery in the field
  • Is a controls engineering subject matter expert.
