Software Configuration Management Analyst (TS/SCI Clearance Required)
About The Position
North Point Technology is looking to hire a Software Configuration Management Analyst to join our team. The qualified candidate must have an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and will develop and maintain software configuration management tools that support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of both internally developed and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software products. The ideal candidate has strong experience across software configuration and release management and thrives coordinating with cross-functional engineering teams to keep products on schedule and audit-ready.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- Software configuration management, configuration change management, and release and data management.
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools: Jira, Confluence, Git, and GitLab.
- Knowledgeable on Sprints in a JIRA environment.
- Coordinating software and hardware releases across Release Management, QA, and Engineering teams.
- Maintaining databases to track and manage deliverable products through completion.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general software applications.
- Familiarity with development and production contracts.
- Verification and analysis of work products for accuracy.
- Experience with documentation markings, formatting, and handling.
- Familiar with CTs, CRs, and CNs.
- Knowledgeable in Windchill/EPDM.
Responsibilities
- Supports software configuration management across the full product lifecycle.
- Develops and maintains software configuration management tools.
- Performs configuration change management along with records, release, and data management.
- Analyzes proposed hardware and software changes to determine their effect on the overall product and system.
- Performs release engineering tasks to ensure new software products are documented, compliant with standard configurations, and logistically sustainable.
- Maintains the Software Configuration Management System, including code documentation, problem report and change request processing, software build documents, and delivery of software products to operational environments.
- Interfaces frequently with cross-functional leads, engineers, and internal and external contacts to achieve program objectives on schedule.
