About The Position

This role is responsible for tier II support of the Echo provider database. We are looking for applicants with excellent customer service skills, experience with troubleshooting and database management. This is a remote position, but looking for MO or IL residents.

The Credentialing Verification Organization (CVO) is part of BJC HealthCare's Managed Care department. The CVO provides effective systems interface with all BJC Medical Staff Offices and establishes collaborative working relationships to ensure JCAHO, NCQA, and URAC compliance issues as they relate to physician credentialing. In addition, this team manages and provides oversight for cross credentialing efforts among BJC member organizations.

Role Purpose
The entry-level analyst in Technology is skilled to work on planning, identifying, controlling, accounting for and auditing of configuration items (CIs) and their interrelationships. This role will be responsible for operational processes for secure configuration, classification and management of CIs. Role will also work on developing, configuring and maintaining automated tools, processes to control the information. Providing service and product descriptions, planning and execution of testing activities are part of the overall responsibilities for this role.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• <2 years experience
• No Supervisor Experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience with troubleshooting
• Database management experience

Responsibilities

• Applies tools, techniques and processes to track, log and correct information related to configuration items. Ensures that users comply with identification standards . Performs audits to check the accuracy of the information and undertakes corrective action under direction.
• Installs or removes system components using supplied installation instructions and tools. Conducts standard tests to check correct working of installations and contributes to investigations of problems and faults.
• Follows agreed procedures to identify, register, categorize incidents and gathers information to enable incident resolution.
• Designs test cases, creates test scripts and test data, and automates repeatable tasks working to the requirements. Executes and records manual and automated testing in accordance with test plans.
• Collates information needed to populate the service catalogue. Edits and maintains service and product descriptions and keeps the list of available services up to date.
• May be part of an after-hours on-call rotation.
