In this role, you will: Generate development scripts to execute documented test cases, verify software functionality, and report results without manual human intervention Develop and execute test plans and test cases Perform both manual and automated testing Identify, document, and track software bugs/defects and issues Develop and maintain testing scripts and tools The primary work location for the role will be in the Washington Metro Area during the first year, after which the position will transition to Huntsville, Alabama—providing the candidate with an exciting opportunity to experience two vibrant regions and broaden professional horizons.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in software testing
  • Demonstrated experience in relevant software testing
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing test plans and developing and maintaining test scripts and tools
  • Bachelor's Degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Security, Computer Security, Computer Forensics, Information Systems, Systems Engineering or other closely related degree from an accredited college or university
  • In-depth knowledge of mobile and desktop operating systems

Nice To Haves

  • Software development experience including design, implementation, testing, analysis and debugging supporting CNO/CNE.
  • Demonstrated experience performing Software Configuration Management
  • Demonstrated experience writing unit test when developing new software and fixing bugs
