Software Asset Analyst

EverpureSanta Clara, CA
Onsite

About The Position

We’re seeking a Software Asset Analyst to play a critical role in managing Everpure’s growing SaaS portfolio, strengthening compliance, and enabling operational excellence at scale. You will own day-to-day software asset operations, improve SLAs, and ensure that our governance processes keep pace with Everpure’s growth. As part of the Digital Transformation Group (DTG) – Strategy & Operations, you’ll work alongside the Software Asset Manager and partner closely with stakeholders across Procurement, FP&A, Legal, GISO, IT, and other business units. Your work will directly impact how quickly teams get the tools they need, how effectively we control software spend, and how well we manage security and audit risk.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in software asset management, or a related field (e.g., ITSM/ITAM operations) with a focus on SaaS.
  • Proven experience running operational queues (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, or similar), maintaining backlog, SLAs, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Hands-on experience with SAM and/or SaaS management tools, such as ServiceNow SAM Pro, Productiv, Zylo, Lumos, etc.
  • Excellent data accuracy and organizational skills, including both creating & working with spreadsheets, reports, and multiple systems of record to resolve discrepancies.
  • Natural collaboration skills and clear communication style, with the ability to explain processes and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and to set expectations around timelines and next steps.
  • A proactive problem-solver’s mindset, able to independently analyze issues of moderate complexity, recommend options, and drive follow-through.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end software request queue, ensuring routing, approvals, and fulfillment align with company policies and hit target SLAs.
  • Maintain high-quality software asset data in Productiv, including ownership, contract, usage, and entitlement details that underpin compliance and optimization decisions.
  • Optimize license utilization and spend through ongoing analysis and targeted reclamation/harvesting campaigns that reduce waste and avoid incremental cost.
  • Provide SAM governance reporting and insights on request volumes, cycle times, utilization, compliance coverage, and cost-optimization opportunities for stakeholders across Everpure.
  • Coordinate with app owners and cross-functional partners to plan upcoming renewals and new purchases, ensuring they flow correctly through relevant workflows.
  • Support Business Applications Council (BAC) operations as needed by providing data for pre-read materials, documenting outcomes related to software asset impacts, and updating SAM tools and documentation based on BAC decisions.
  • Build out the Knowledge Base, including SOPs, runbooks, templates, FAQs, and self-service resources that help requestors and app owners navigate processes more independently.

Benefits

  • flexible time off
  • wellness resources
  • company-sponsored team events
