About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to lead the evolution of a critical OCI platform service: a high-scale workflow orchestration engine. This engine is responsible for reliably and consistently coordinating the creation of cloud resources across compute, storage, networking, and other foundational services. It processes tens of billions of transactions annually and is a foundational dependency across OCI. The next generation of this system is being built to deliver significantly greater scale, performance, resiliency, and multi-tenant capabilities. This is a rare opportunity to define the architecture of a foundational cloud service that will shape the future of OCI.
Requirements
- Experienced Software Architect
- Experience with high-scale workflow orchestration engines
- Experience with cloud resource provisioning
- Understanding of distributed operations
- Experience with failure recovery and rollback mechanisms
- Experience with multi-tenant capabilities
