About The Position

The Software Architect provides technical leadership and architectural guidance for the software engineering organization. The role designs and implements large-scale distributed systems, mentors team members, and promotes technical excellence. It also contributes to scalable solutions, including e-commerce and content management systems, and collaborates with product teams on technical strategy and roadmaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a similar field; equivalent experience is considered.
• Typical candidates will have 8 or more years of software engineering experience.
• Typical candidates will have 1 or more years of technical leadership of software engineering teams.
• Extensive experience designing and building distributed systems, including message queues and event-driven architectures.
• Strong background in e-commerce platforms, payment systems, and system integration.
• Proven track record of leading complex technical projects.
• Expert knowledge of software design patterns and architectural principles.
• Expert-level proficiency in a modern technology stack; .NET is preferred, but alternatives are considered.
• Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• At least 3 years of experience with AWS.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and DevSecOps practices and tools.
• Experience designing and implementing monitoring and observability systems.
• Excellent communication skills and mentoring abilities.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with C4 modeling and IcePanel.
• Experience with modern AI software development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor.
