About The Position

The Software Architect, Journeyman will provide functional and empirical analysis related to the testing of software systems. The full-time duty location will be onsite at APG. This role involves interacting with system users to translate their requirements into systems, hardware, and software requirements and design. The architect will also participate in the development of test strategies and solve engineering problems in the assigned functional area. A background in Software Development & Integration is essential, along with experience in DevSecOps (Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, CI/CD), Kubernetes (container lifecycle, creation, and customization), scripting (PowerShell, Batch), and Front-end Web Design.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other Engineering or Technical discipline is required.
Three (3) years' experience within the last 5 years.
Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
Secret Clearance
Experience in DevSecOps: Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, CI/CD
Experience with Kubernetes: Container lifecycle, create & customize
Experience with Scripting: PowerShell, Batch
Experience with Front-end Web Design
