This role is ideal for a technically savvy Higher Education student seeking a part-time job with a flexible schedule. As a Part-Time Software Application Tester, you will perform independent verification & validation of requirements by creating, running, and evaluating manual and automated tests. You will document defects and confirm their resolution.
Requirements
- 1+ year(s) of software troubleshooting experience
Nice To Haves
- Enrolled in or completed Higher Education STEM background
- technical writing
- Software programming/scripting experience
Responsibilities
- Supports the development of software components and hardware-software integration by assisting in the creation and execution of manual & automated test cases to verify software performance and function
- Identifies and documents defects
- Collects, inputs, and analyzes data for software metrics of limited scope and complexity using established procedures
- Uses software tools to troubleshoot problems
- Performs other duties as assigned
