About The Position

Cellanome is hiring a 6-month temporary Software and Informatics Product Manager who will support day-to-day execution for our software suite, owning tactical delivery by driving software releases to completion and leading cross-functional groups for requirements prioritization. The candidate will possess a good understanding of current genomic and functional methods and understand the trends in the competitive landscape. As part of the marketing team, this role contributes to customer facing documentation, and supports customers and KOLs to ensure their success and showcase the use of Cellanome products. Collaborates closely with Software & Bioinformatics, R&D, Operations, and Commercial.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Technical knowledge of genomic, functional and/or single cell analysis tools required.
  • Experience developing and launching successful products in the life science software space.
  • Communicates effectively and collaborates with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to work in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD strongly preferred.
  • Multi-omic and live cell biology experience preferred.
  • Experience leading SaaS solutions globally with regulatory compliance and data privacy requirements preferred.
  • Experience working across applications, including web lab, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the team’s current software releases through to completion by coordinating cross-functional readiness, tracking open items, and unblocking the team where needed; ownership of relevant documentation including release notes and user guides.
  • Gather, document, and prioritize requirements for software releases, working with engineering and R&D to translate customer and field input into a clear backlog; partner across the core team on cross-functional trade-off decisions.
  • Work with product management counterparts and software teams to keep the roadmap on track; flag trade-offs and decisions that need broader input.
  • Stay involved with customer and field feedback by joining select customer calls and feedback sessions and route findings to the right owners.
  • Answer field team questions and support commercial activities as needed; help maintain existing training, sales tools and collateral.
