About The Position

As a Software Analyst/Engineer in the Product Support Contact Center for John Deere Financial Worldwide Headquarters located in Johnston, IA, you will work closely with other team members to ensure that features meet business needs, work collaboratively with infrastructure, security, and other partners. You will develop and maintain tools and reports as solutions to solve well-defined problems. You will also serve as a liaison between 3rd party suppliers and develop your own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. You will maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of experience in the design, development, testing and integration of software solutions leveraging APIs and change management.
  • 1 or more years of understanding application development environments, databases, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints.
  • Ability to influence effectively and resolve impediments in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated use of multiple programming languages, (ie; JavaScript, TypeScript, React, SQL, NodeJS, Python, HTML, CSS)

Nice To Haves

  • Capable of collaborating and gathering requirements from multiple business stakeholders to provide information technology solutions.
  • Skilled in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
  • Learning Agility / Innovative - desire and openness for continuous technical learning and identifying areas for application.
  • 1 or more years of proven experience in an Agile/Scrum team environment.
