About The Position

As a Product Developer at BJU Press, the ideal candidate will play a supporting role for senior leadership and project management teams by fostering a culture of continuous communication and collaboration. This role requires an understanding of people, processes/workflow, and project management software in order to have the best fit in contributing to the long-term success of BJU Press.

Requirements

  • Experience with Smartsheet or other project management tool
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use project management tools
  • Ability to plan, schedule, update, track, and communicate status of projects
  • Ability to adjust, recover, troubleshoot, and brainstorm
  • Ability to help users understand and follow established processes
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time in order to meet deadlines
  • Ability to be proactive in communication and the handling of project challenges
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ YOE

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain key performance metrics aligned to product goals
  • Build and structure scalable solutions for data tracking
  • Develop and maintain dashboards with clear, real-time insights
  • Create reports tailored to stakeholder and leadership needs
  • Automate workflows to streamline processes and reduce manual work
  • Troubleshoot formulas, data issues, and broken workflows
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and system reliability
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
  • Develop and maintain standards and best practices
  • Document systems and provide user support and training
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
