About The Position

This is a regular student labor position in which the selected candidate will assist the Head Softball Coach with the coordination, guidance, direction and supervision of the women's soccer program. The Athletics Department at the University of Central Oklahoma currently supports over 400 student athletes in 15 NCAA Division II sports. The selected candidate will assist the Head Softball Coach with the coordination, guidance, direction and supervision of the women's soccer program. Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to recruiting coordination; coaching student-athletes; monitoring student-athlete academic progress; game management; budget; administrative duties and travel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs.
• General knowledge of NCAA Division II rules & regulations.
• Must be knowledgeable about NCAA Division II rules and regulations.
• Must be able to perform all tasks appointed by the head coach.
• Must have a strong desire to learn.
• Must be enrolled at least half-time (5 hours for graduates, 6 hours for undergraduates) for Fall/Spring Semesters.
• F1/J1 Visa students must be enrolled full-time (9 credit hours for graduates, 12 credit hours for undergraduates) for Fall/Spring Semesters.
• Must be enrolled in at least 3 summer credit hours or be enrolled in the upcoming fall semester for Summer Semester.
• For Federal Work Study Program (FWSP) positions, students must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours (undergraduate) or 5 credit hours (graduate).

• Former collegiate or professional playing experience preferred.
