About The Position

This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph to be considered. A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify. Cherokee Strategic Edge is seeking a SOF Surrogate Operations Specialist to support the SOCCENT J3 Director in the coordination and execution of all Special programs.

Requirements

  • Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 12 years of relevant experience (or commensurate operational experience)
  • Surrogate Management; Proficient with G2G and CHROME
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of operational experience and subject matter expertise in Irregular Warfare, Advanced Special Operations Techniques (ASOT), and Operational Preparation of the Environment (OPE)
  • U.S. Special Operations experience; Enlisted with the rank of E7 or higher, Warrant Officer (CW2 or higher), or Commissioned Officer (O3 or higher)
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal

  • CMF 18 series or related background is highly desired
  • ASOT Managers Course graduate highly desire

Responsibilities

  • Advises SOCCENT on oversight, management, planning, coordination, synchronization, and execution of all SOCCENT programs throughout the AOR.
  • Under the supervision, and with approval of SOCCENT advises senior DoD, interagency and partner-nation leaders on operations, capability development, and irregular warfare integration.
  • Supports SOCCENT by coordinating closely with the Intelligence Community (IC) and understand coordination processes to facilitate execution of programs.
  • Advises and supports SOCCENT engagements with senior DoD, interagency and partner-nation leaders on operations, capability development, and irregular warfare integration.
  • Advises SOCCENT subordinate elements regarding the provision of support to forces for the enablement of counterterrorism and irregular warfare operations in support of USSOF objectives.
  • Supports SOCCENT in the management and review of program budgets, proposed expenditures, financial reports, and development of budget justifications and projections.
  • Supports SOCCENT with the oversight and management of all program activities to ensure compliance with all applicable federal laws, rules and regulations governing their use.
  • Assists in the review of current policies governing programs and development and implementation of new policies.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
