About The Position
New York-Presbyterian/Queens, located in Flushing, Queens, is a community teaching hospital affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine. They are seeking a Social Worker for their Oncology office. The role involves providing a variety of psychosocial services, coordinating discharge planning and continuum of care for patients and families, and assisting them in enhancing their capabilities of coping with illness and daily functioning. This is a full-time, day shift position (8 AM - 4 PM, Monday - Friday) at NYP/Queens Hospital in Flushing, NY. Requirements
- At least one year of Oncology experience
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
- New York State License as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)
- All roles require on-site presence
- Employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP
