About The Position
This position, focusing primarily on residents living in the Independent Living component of our continuum of care, provides opportunities to build caring relationships with residents over extended periods of time.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work
- Current license as a Social Worker
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a geriatric setting
- Interviewing skills
- Assessment expertise
Responsibilities
- Developing and attaining short-term treatment goals for depression, anxiety and issues surrounding grief and loss.
- Collaboration with the medical team and families.
