About The Position
As a social worker at Mayo Clinic in La Crosse, Wisconsin, you will become a member of our dynamic medical social work team who provides case management and therapeutic bedside interventions. You will be responsible for conducting diagnostic assessment, determining clinical interventions, facilitating crisis intervention and psychotherapy. Additional responsibilities include providing education for patients and their families, communicating effectively verbally and in writing while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external support systems, participating in the development and implementation of the treatment/transition plan, and serving as a resource to other staff within the section of Social Work and the Department of Nursing.
