About The Position

This PRN position is for a Social Worker at Christian Hospital, focusing on utilization management duties. The social worker will facilitate carerounds on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The role involves assisting patients and their families in adapting and planning an interdisciplinary approach to treatment, working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Employees working at an Illinois facility are required to have an Illinois state social work license or be able to obtain one within 90 days of employment.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)
• Illinois state social work license or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment (for Illinois facilities)
• No Experience required
• No Supervisor Experience required

Responsibilities

• Provides direct clinical services to patients and families.
• Plans and implements social work services on assigned clinical service or unit in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Collaborates with community human service agencies to meet the needs of patients, families, and the hospital.
• Conducts utilization management duties.
• Facilitates carerounds Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
