About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian’s Ambulatory Care Network is seeking a Social Worker for its outpatient Pediatric clinic at Weill Cornell, serving medically and socially complex cases. The Pediatric Social Worker uses clinical skills to build meaningful relationships with patients and families and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team. The position may involve work across the Pediatric/Adolescent and Women’s Health Practice depending on need. Responsibilities include biopsychosocial assessments, short-term counseling, risk assessment and treatment planning, crisis intervention, outreach and referrals to community providers, and other case management services. The Social Worker conducts both in-person and telehealth visits. This is a day-shift position, generally 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Monday through Friday, with one delayed-schedule day per week from 11:00 AM–7:00 PM. Roles require on-site presence, variable by role; employees should live within commuting distance of NYP. NYP will not reimburse travel expenses.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work (MSW).
- Licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) by the State of New York.

Responsibilities
