About The Position

School Social WorkerColorado Springs, COFull-Time | School-Based | W-2$40–$42 per hour HealthPRO Pediatrics is seeking a full-time School Social Worker to join our school-based team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is a great opportunity for a compassionate professional who enjoys supporting students’ social, emotional, behavioral, and academic success. In this role, you’ll collaborate with students, families, teachers, administrators, and other school professionals to provide counseling and support services, participate in student planning and intervention meetings, connect families with resources, and help students overcome barriers that may affect learning and school participation. Requirements

Master’s Degree in Social Work in the state of placement
Must be licensed as a mental health provider in the corresponding state (or eligible for licensure and have already applied)
LCSW/MSW required where applicable.
Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development
Current CPR certification

Nice To Haves

Individuals with experience as part of a multi-disciplinary practice team are preferred, along with interest in growing in hours and responsibilities as caseload grows.

Responsibilities

Ensures accuracy, security, and availability of information.
Observes each patient’s behavioral conditions throughout the counseling processes.
Provides observation summaries for each patient.
Debriefs patients/ families as needed and as appropriate.
This role requires maintenance of records in an ethically appropriate and timely manner using practice software.
You should always ensure you are representing the practice in a professional fashion and maintaining confidentiality appropriately.
