OHSU Occupational Health is seeking licensed mental health clinicians to join a growing team of healthcare professionals dedicated to improving the health, safety, and well-being of the entire OHSU workforce. These clinicians will support employees by providing mental health resource navigation and bridge counseling services with the goal of reducing the psychological and emotional impact and harm from workplace events, circumstances, interpersonal/interprofessional dynamics, and culture. Some examples of how workplace events affect employees include burnout, traumatization, feelings of moral injury or overwhelm, suicidal ideation, compassion fatigue, and others. The Occupational Health clinician is an experienced and qualified professional able to respond promptly, ethically, and independently during complex situations and have an in-depth understanding of workplace conditions and risks impacting mental health and be able to confidently navigate internal and external resources available. They will partner closely with well-being stakeholders across OHSU to identify trends and ongoing challenges impacting the OHSU workforce. The clinician is expected to ensure that employee care and initiatives are compassionate, multiculturally responsive, trauma informed, and inclusive of employees with varying beliefs, behaviors, orientations, identities and cultural backgrounds.
