Social Worker PRN - Competitive Pay
About The Position
Heritage Program for Senior Adults at Wamego Health Center is seeking an experienced, licensed therapist for a PRN, in-person, day position. The role ensures patients’ emotional and therapeutic needs are consistently met and maintained according to individual behavioral health care plans. Starting pay is $25 per hour, with higher pay depending on experience. The program is an outpatient service for older adults experiencing emotional, behavioral, or mental health disorders. It provides individualized intensive outpatient treatment Monday through Friday in the least restrictive environment, allowing patients to return home each afternoon. The program serves Pottawatomie, Riley, and Wabaunsee Counties and emphasizes quality care, dignity, respect, and confidentiality. Its clinicians work as a team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
Requirements
- Kansas master's-level social work licensure.
- Strong therapy and assessment skills.
- Expertise in the needs of geriatric and adult populations.
- Experience performing brief, short-term therapy, such as cognitive behavioral therapy or solution-focused therapy.

- Experience developing therapeutic materials.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily group therapy and keep charts updated.
- Complete psychosocial assessments.
- Assist with treatment planning and discharge planning.
- Complete utilization review.
