About The Position
The Clinician will be responsible for working with patients and their families. This will include social assessments, individual / family / marital / counseling, group therapy, patient/family education, discharge planning and other modalities as applicable.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work
- Licensed through the State of Texas (LMSW; LCSW)
- Commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct
- Compliance with all policies and procedures
- Attendance at required training
- Immediate reporting of suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a health care or psychiatric setting
- Bilingual (Spanish)
Responsibilities
- Conduct social assessments.
- Provide individual, family, and marital counseling.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions.
- Educate patients and families.
- Perform discharge planning.
- Utilize other applicable therapeutic modalities.
