About The Position
Osage Beach Center for Behavioral Health is seeking a passionate Social Worker to join their team and improve behavioral health in the community. This role is crucial in carrying out the vision of bringing communities, healthcare providers, and families together to improve behavioral health, one patient at a time. The hospital is an 18-bed psychiatric hospital providing care to adult patients requiring inpatient hospitalization due to mental disorders like cognitive illnesses. The Social Worker will be instrumental in providing quality patient care, displaying advanced skills in social assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning. They will also lead Primary Treatment Modalities, Group, Family, and Individual Therapies. As a multi-disciplinary team member, the Social Worker is expected to participate in community outreach programs, host-facility relationships, and education.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of social work; or Member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers.
- Documented training related to the primary population served within the past year.
- Eligible and acceptable to meet the expectations of the Hospital.
Nice To Haves
- At least one (1) year experience in an acute behavioral health setting preferred.
